A DRIVER has been issued a fixed penalty notice for “careless driving” after a crash in the Borders.
The two-vehicle collision happened at around 8.40am today (Friday, April 21) on the A68 at Leaderfoot Bridge, according to police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "At 8.40am on Friday, April 21, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on A68 Leaderfoot Bridge, Melrose.
“A driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice for careless driving."
