THE Borders Railway will run as normal over the next two days despite planned strike action by ASLEF and RMT members.
ScotRail has confirmed that its full timetable will operate as normal on Friday, 12 May and Saturday, 13 May, when members of two rail trade unions take part in planned strike action.

The strike action is a result of a dispute between the trade unions and a number of other train operators across the UK, and does not involve any ScotRail staff.

David Simpson, ScotRail Service Delivery Director, said: “No ScotRail services will be affected by this week’s upcoming strike action.
“The dispute between the trade unions and other train operators does not involve any ScotRail staff. We look forward to welcoming passengers to our services.”
