PLANS for a major expansion at a Peeblesshire holiday complex are to go in front of a council committee next week.
Applicant Darwin Alternative Investment Management is looking to provide 100 lodges at Peebles' Rosetta Holiday Park.
The proposals first emerged last year, with alterations to the site's category B-listed stables also planned.
Scottish Borders Council's Planning and Building Standards Committee will consider the bid at its meeting on Monday.
It is being recommended to approve the expansion.
A report published ahead of the meeting states: "The proposals seek to re-develop the existing caravan site, removing a number of existing static caravans and lodges from around the site, and returning the fields south and east of Rosetta House into open parkland.
"The existing modern reception building by the south-east access and toilet blocks on the east fields will also be removed. The new holiday lodges will be sited on the fields west of the Rosetta House and Stables within the fields’ existing quadrant grid pattern.
"A maintenance and housekeeping building to serve the development is proposed north of the listed Stables building and will have a new access road leading up to it from the existing north-east access."
The stables building would be used as a ‘welcome’ building for visitors to check in and out under the plans.
The firm revealed that the project could create up to 15 full-time jobs during a consultation event in Peebles last year, as well as many more part-time roles.
