A HOSPITALITY business has been praised after it received an accolade for outstanding customer reviews.
Broomfields Country House, near Melrose, won recognition in the 2026 Booking.com Traveller Review Awards.
Martin Davidson owns Broomfields Country House, assisted by Lorna Galbraith, and said: "We were delighted to receive this award in recognition of our hard work and going the extra mile and exceeding guests expectations.
"Our guests from all over the world enjoy the Broomfields Country House experience and we always remember we are only as good as our last review."
Broomfields was visited by John Lamont, MP for Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk, to celebrate its award.
Mr Lamont said: "I was delighted to visit Broomfields Country House and personally congratulate the owners on this fantastic achievement.
"This recognition from customers in the Booking.com Traveller Review Awards is a testament to the hard work, dedication and hospitality that they provide to every guest."
