CHRISTMAS has come early for a Peebles resident after she landed a dream holiday in a festive summer promotion with a difference.
Karen Graham was crowned the winner of the “Key to Christmas” giveaway, securing a trip to Turkey after picking the only key that unlocked a padlock on a Christmas tree decorated with more than 300 keys.
The promotion, run by Your Ford Centre, has brought a seasonal twist to July, with the eye-catching challenge drawing in visitors looking to test their luck.
Karen’s winning moment came as she selected the correct key from the hundreds on display — unlocking the prize and a holiday getaway complete with all the extras.

The Christmas Tree is touring the country with stops at Dundee (July 18), Cupar (July 19), and Kirkcaldy (June 20-26).
A spokesperson for Your Ford Centre said: “We wanted to do something a little bit different this summer and add a bit of festive joy. We are absolutely thrilled to be sending Karen off to Turkey and hope she has a great holiday.”
