THE poor quality of two noticeboards was raised at the latest Innerleithen Community Council meeting.
On Monday evening, resident and chairman of the Innerleithen Community Trust Ross McGinn voiced his concerns over the state of the boards, one outside the town's Memorial Hall on Leithen Road and one by Innerleithen allotments.
Ross said: "The noticeboard at the Memorial Hall is saturated, full of pins and difficult to use. Of the two noticeboards outside the allotment, the enclosed one is in good repair and kept up to date, while the other is open to the elements, has become a free-for-all and looks very unprofessional."
Chairman Marshall Douglas said the community council will contact Live Borders to review and improve both noticeboards.
