Queries raised over 101 police calls
PEEBLES Community Council has questioned the number of incidents reported to police via the non-emergency number 101.
Chairman Laurie Hayworth told last Thursday’s meeting: “We are aware of several incidents in the last month that have been reported to the police using 101, however, none of these incidents are reflected in the latest police report for Peebles.”
A letter is to be sent to Police Scotland to request more details be made available in future.
