SIR, On behalf of the Peeblesshire Committee of Macmillan Cancer Support, I would like to thank all those who donated so generously to, and came along to buy plants from, our recent Plant Sale in the grounds of the Leckie Memorial Church and Hall in Peebles.
We raised £2388 from the sale and from the coffees and home baking, which is a marvellous result. Our thanks are due also to Kailzie Gardens, Pentland Plants, Portmore Estate and Woodside Plant Centre for plants, and the Sunflower and Forsyths the Bakers for scones.
