Our staff and volunteers worked tirelessly all weekend to organise and prepare the food and we couldn’t have done this without their help.

This is the second year that we have taken on the challenge of barbecuing for a thousand people and this year we wanted to celebrate local, seasonal food which we managed to source from several of Tweeddale’s fantastic shops.

We’d also like to extend our thanks to the Big Sunday Festival organisers for allowing us to once again, get involved.

As a voluntary, non-faith organisation we relish any opportunity to get involved with community life and once again, this gave us a great opportunity to showcase the positive contribution that young people can and do make to their community.

If you are interested in or would like to get involved with our project, please see our website for more information www.tweeddaleyouth.co.uk or get in touch on info@tweeddaleyouth.co.uk, telephone us on 01721 724779 or drop in and see us at The Old Corn Exchange, top of School Brae in Peebles I am, etc.
