LEITHEN Rovers have warmed up for the new season with mixed fortunes.
The Innerleithen amateurs had raced into a two-goal lead last week against Biggar United.
A Reece Porter penalty and a Ronan Baillie strike had give the home side the half time advantage.
But it was Biggar who lifted the Duncan Smith Memorial Trophy after netting three times in the second half.
The match, which was played at Vale of Leithen's Victoria Park, also allowed Leithen Rovers to unveil their new stripes for 2018/19.
Ally Robb from Leithen Rovers told us: "We would like to thank Vale of Leithen for the use of their facilities on the day and also to our kit sponsor J&M Ices."
Leithen Rovers followed up the narrow defeat with a seven goal demolition of near neighbours Tweeddale Rovers Colts.
Connor Brunton and Patryk Patryk both scored braces with Ronan Baillie, Andrew Edmiston and Kyle Kivlichan also on target.
