FOOTBALLERS in West Linton have fired themselves into the national finals of the Boys Brigade football fives.
The eight-man squad from the village, who are all members of the ever-growing Linton Hotspur Colts, defeated teams from across the country to make the finals.
A total of six teams have qualified for the May finals, with the top two earning a place in the UK tournament.
The West Linton Boys' Brigade team is made up of boys from primary 7 up to second year.
A spokeswoman told us: "It is a great achievement for a young company from a small village."
West Linton Boys Brigade offers lots of opportunities for local boys in adventure and sporting activities with over 35 attending each Tuesday evening.
