GALA Hotspur paid tribute to former player Keith Clark ahead of their Forsyth Cup clash against Tweeddale Rovers.

Keith passed away last week with both clubs holding a minute's silence at the Netherdale 3G Arena.

Unfortunately for Spurs they were not secure a win as Rovers claimed a tight cup tie 1-0, with Scott Latto scoring the second half winner.

Hawick Waverley sealed successive Division A titles with a 4-1 triumph at Chirnside United.

Jordan Yardley, Dean McColm, Taylor Hope and Simon Philbin scored for Hawick who claimed the league with four games to spare.

Yardley said: “I am buzzing, we have again won the league. The team has been excellent all season.”

Greenlaw look likely to be runners up after winning an eight goal thriller against local rivals Gordon.

William Smillie scored two in a 5-3 victory which saw on-loan keeper Mark Walters sent off for Greenlaw.

Selkirk Victoria made their second cup final in as many weeks after coming from behind to win 3-2 after extra time.

The Vics were 2-0 down after just 15 minutes but goals from Ryan Pritchard, Darren Munro and Lee Stephen took the Souters through.

In remains incredibly tight in the Division B title race, as Tweedmouth, Langlee and Newtown all won.

Tyler Smith scored two as Langlee beat Biggar 4-1, while Andrew Crawford, Darren Blacklock and Jack Hay found the net as Newtown defeated Kelso 3-1, and Tweedmouth hammered Earlston Rhymers 7-0.

Hawick Legion marked their first game at new home Brunton Park with an emphatic 9-1 win over Lauder with Scott Duncan and Matthew Linton both scoring hat-tricks.

Duns’ promotion hopes remain just about alive after defeating Berwick Colts 4-2 thanks in part to two own goals, while Leithen Rovers defeated Coldstream.
