FESTIVE fun and pure entertainment are what three choirs promise at the ‘Sweet Singing in the Choirs’ concert which will take place in Peebles Old Parish Church on Friday, December 18 at 7.30pm.

The two local choirs are delighted to welcome Edinburgh’s RingTones to the Borders. They and InChorus share the same Musical Director, Aly Skidmore. The RingTones are looking forward, very much, to singing in Peebles, particularly at this time of year.

Aly, who organised the event, said, “Music plays a huge part in people’s enjoyment and traditions at Christmas, and it is lovely that these three choirs are singing together for the first time for the Peeblesshire community this year. This concert is free because we simply want everyone to come along, relax, and enjoy themselves for a couple of hours amidst the frantic build up to the big day.”.

No ticket is necessary. However there will be charity buckets should people wish to make a donation to Nomad Beat and Tweed Wheels, both of which are very worthwhile local charities. Doors will open at 6.45pm.

Please come along and sing lustily.
