The financial year saw three successful productions at the Eastgate Theatre, a Hallowe’en Fright Night at Kailzie Gardens and Treading the Boards - an exhibition of the 35-year history of Tweed Theatre. The exhibition continues to run for limited period at Tweeddale Museum, Chambers Institution, Peebles.
Following up on the great success of a previous Farndale Farce upcoming productions include Farndale Farce in September, Dad’s Army(two episodes) in November, Sunset on Leith in the spring of next year and a pantomime in December 2016.
Club membership and bank balance were reported as healthy.
A new committee was voted in: Anne Taylor (chair), Elizabeth O’Raw (vice chair), Paula Ketterer (secretary), rer Katherine Mathison (treasurer), Sam French (membership secretary), plus three ordinary members.
The chair welcomed new members and thanked the old committee for its hard work in the 35th year of bringing the best of theatre to Peebles and surrounds.
