THE young readers who flocked to Peebles Library at the weekend have a bit of growing to do before they catch up with Sultan Kösen.
But the 47 who collected their Summer Reading Challenge certificates can still feel kinda tall after completing six books during the holidays.
The theme of this year's reading challenge was Record Breakers.
And to get the 79 youngsters who took part into the spirit of the challenge, a life-sized poster of Mr Kösen, who is eight feet and three inches tall, was displayed within the library.
All 79 local children completed the challenge, which involved visiting the library three times over the summer and reading a minimum of six books.
On Saturday, 47 of the children were presented with their medals and certificates in front of an audience of proud relatives
