YOUR view counts - that’s the message behind a new online survey that will help shape policing priorities throughout Peeblesshire.

The survey invites Borders residents to tell the police what’s important to them. Participants can select and rank the issues they wish local police to prioritise such as anti-social behaviour, drug dealing, thefts, hate crime, sexual violence etc.

It only takes 15 minutes to complete.

Police Scotland Chief Constable Phil Gormley said: "We have listened to feedback from the public over the last year and used it to re-design and re-launch our consultation process for policing priorities.

"Your View Counts is changing the way the public can let the police know what matters to their communities.

"There is no 'one size fits all' approach to local policing and all the needs and wants of individual communities will be considered.

"Please take just 15 minutes of your time, to let us know what is important to you."
