ANNABELLE Ewing, Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Cowdenbeath constituency, attended the recent Lochgelly High School awards ceremony, held at the Lochgelly Centre and was impressed.
Speaking following the event Ms Ewing said: “I had a lovely time at the Lochgelly High School awards ceremony and it was particularly pleasing to be able to share with them the celebrations of the school’s 30th anniversary.
“I was delighted to be able to attend and hear of all the fantastic achievements by pupils throughout the year.
“Very well done as well to all the staff for the work they have put in. As the Head Teacher, Carol Ann Penrose Campbell outlined, the objective of the school is to ‘go from good to great!’. I wish them all future success with that excellent ambition.”
