Man rushed to hospital following Vespa accident
A MAN was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary when he lost control of his Vespa Scooter near Eddleston.
The incident happened on the Meldons Road, at the Eddleston to Linwater Road, around 1pm on Sunday, August 21.
The man was treated in hospital for serious injuries.
Sergeant Neil Inglis, of Galashiels Road Policing, said: “We’re appealing for witnesses who might’ve seen the scooter at the time of the incident.
“It’s possible a black car was involved, and we’re trying to establish the full circumstances.”
