LIVE Borders are giving people the chance to get fit for free next week, as they get set to host a series of classes in leisure centres across the region.

The gym-based sessions are designed for small groups and will be run by an expert fitness instructor and will take place at the Gytes Leisure Centre, Selkirk Leisure Centre, Teviotdale Leisure Centre, Tweedbank Sports Centre and Eyemouth Leisure Centre.

Ewan Jackson, Chief Executive of Live Borders said: "These sessions have been developed as part of our new One Club membership initiative.
"Each has been created to fulfil a different role and will be adapted to meet the needs of individual participants.

"These new small group sessions are part of our continuous efforts to provide a diverse spectrum of fitness opportunities in the region aimed at enabling more people to become more active.

"Our Live Borders One Club is also part of this effort by making regular access to leisure and fitness facilities as affordable as possible."

The free taster sessions are open to all Borders residents but places must be booked in advance by contacting Live Borders on 01896 661166 or the individual Leisure Centres.
