TESCO bosses in Peebles are urging local groups and charities to come forward and bag a grant.
The store contacted the Peeblesshire News through our Facebook page, concerned at the lack of applications from local groups.
The Bags for Help scheme gives cash to local causes from money raised by the 5p bag charge.
Tesco said: “Bags for Help is our exciting local grant scheme funded by the 5p bag charge.
“Supported by the environmental improvement charity Groundwork, Bags of Help is funding thousands of outdoor community projects across the uk.
“Customers can nominate outdoor spaces they think should be considered in their local area at any time.
“Community projects can also put themselves up for nomination as well. It’s important to try and keep the money in the community.”
