THE May Dance will take place at Peebles Rugby Club tonight (May 19).

Held by the Peebles March Riders Association, doors will open to the event at 7.30pm.

Residents are invited to come along and support the Cornet-Elect Ross Falla and his Lass Eilidh Falla, where presentations include the Kenneth Hope Memorial Crop, Merit Shield and Helen Cleghorn Quaich.

Tickets are priced at £8 and £5 and can be purchased from any committee member.

On Sunday, May 21, the May Ride shall be led by the Cornet-Elect and his Lass, leaving the Eastgate Car Park at 10am.

The cavalcade rides along Peebles High Street, over the hills to Eddleston and returns via Peebles High Street at approximately 4pm.

This ride is for experienced riders only as open hill cantering is involved.
