A PEEBLES woman has denied assaulting her former partner by scratching him on the neck and biting him on the body as well as repeatedly striking him on the head.
Roxanne Linton, 27, of Connor Street, appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court and denied the assault which is said to have happened on Wednesday, August 29.
She is also accused of scratching a woman to her injury and also breaking a window at a house in Glensax Road, Peebles.
Linton will stand trial on November 22 with an intermediate hearing onm October 22.
She was released on bail with special conditions not to contact five named people and not to enter Glensax Road.
