A SHEEP has died following a livestock attack in a field in the Innerleithen area.
Scottish Borders Police received a report at around midday on Saturday, October 14 that livestock had been attacked in a field at Caerleebank on Peebles Road, Innerleithen.
A sheep had been found dead in the field.
Police are now appealing for information about the attack.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3111 of Saturday, 14 October, 2023, or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
