A PEEBLESSHIRE road is likely to be closed for "some time" following a crash this afternoon (Monday, February 26).
A crash on the A703 between Peebles and Leadburn was reported to police at around 3.05pm.
Police are also advising that motorists avoid the area and make use of alternative routes.
Sharing to Facebook, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The A703 is currently closed between Peebles and Leadburn due to a crash reported around 3.05pm.
"The road is likely to be closed for some time so we would urge drivers to avoid the area and use alternative routes."
