NOMINATIONS for three vacant positions on Peebles Community Council are being sought.
Scottish Borders Council is inviting members of the community whose names appear on the current electoral register to put themselves forward for this election.
The closing date for nominations is 12pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
In the event of there being more nominations than places, a ballot will be held.
Nomination forms can be obtained from: the Post Office, 14 Eastgate, Peebles, EH45 8AA; Peebles Library, High Street, Peebles, EH45 8AG; democratic services at Scottish Borders Council, Newtown St Boswells, TD6 0SA; and the council’s website.
Completed nomination forms should be returned to Lynne Cuerden, Peebles Community Council Election, Scottish Borders Council, Newtown St Boswells TD6 0SA or by email to: lynne.cuerden@scotborders.gov.uk
