ENTERPRISING pupils from Eddleston Primary School have raised money for charity - with a cake sale.
Rowan and Lucy, from Primary five, asked staff if they could run a Bake Sale for tuck shop to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Nurses.
Rowan and Lucy asked their parents and grandparents to bake for this and came into school laden with boxes of baking.
Throughout the week pupils and staff enjoyed their baking for break time and at the end of the week the girls counted up a grand total of £130 to send to Macmillan Cancer Nurses.
Eddleston has only 48 pupils and the amount raised is a great effort.
