THE world's oldest one-make car club will drive into Peebles this weekend.

The Jowett Car Club will hold their annual high-profile national rally in Haylodge Park on Sunday.

Vehicles and club members will be coming from all over the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Holland and Finland for the rally.

Organisers expect as many as 70 of the historic Jowett vehicles to pull up in Peebles on Sunday morning.

At the rally there will be a range of Jowetts dating from 1913 up to 1954.

And full range of activities have been planned for the Haylodge Park event.

Drummond Black, from the Jowett Car Club, told the Peeblesshire News: “Feel free to come and join us to see a fantastic collection of motor vehicles.”

The event will be held on Sunday (May 28) in Haylodge Park from 11am and admission is free.
