SPRING is set to be even more beautiful next spring in Peebles following a massive bulb-planting project over the weekend.
Members from The Royal Burgh of Peebles Callants Club were out in force with their spades to plant more than 4,000 bulbs.
Sections along the banks of the Tweed between Tweed Bridge, Priorsford Bridge and Victoria Park will benefit from the additional blooms from next year.
All of the bulbs planted on the riverside areas were donated by the The Rotary Club of Peebles.
And the Harbro store in Peebles provided a generous discount to the Callants for the bulbs planted in Victoria Park.
