TIME is running out for residents to have their say on proposals for new UK Parliamentary constituency boundaries in Scotland.
Under the proposed shake-up, Peebles would join Midlothian to create a Midlothian and Upper Tweeddale constituency, while Innerleithen would join John Lamont’s Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk seat.
The Boundary Commission for Scotland is the encouraging members of the public, community groups, and other local bodies to look at the proposals and submit their views before the deadline at 11.59pm on Monday, December 11.
