A lunch was held at the Green Tree Hotel for International Women's Day on Thursday, March 8.
A total of eighteen people attended the lunch, including two men.
Lyndal Bale spoke about the history of International Women's Day, which is 107 years old this year, why it is still relevant, and how we can all do our bit for Women's Equality at home and world-wide.
A collection of £90 was taken for Border Women's Aid.
