Peebles and District Citizens Advice Bureau has been awarded a grant of £5300 from the Bank of Scotland Foundation.
Launched in November 2010, the charity receives an annual donation of £2m from Lloyds Banking Group.
Since its inception, well over 700 charities have received grants from the Foundation, including those announced today.
The next closing date for applications to both the Small and Medium Grants Programmes is Monday, April 14.
Kate Guthrie, Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and HR Director, Culture, Capability & Engagement, Lloyds Banking Group commented, “I’m immensely proud to be able to announce the first tranche of funding being made available from the Bank of Scotland Foundation this year. The difference these grants make cannot be overestimated.
“They provide much needed help and support, and allow charities such as Peebles and District CAB to deliver vital support to their local communities.”
