THE countdown to Christmas has begun.
Peebles Christmas Lights Association this week unveiled the winners of its Christmas Card Competition.
They were as follows: Tweed Bridge from the South West (Margaret Jamie); path to Neidpath Castle (Richard Todd of Peebles Camera Club); Peebles Christmas Lights from Parish Church tower (Emma Scott); Peebles town crest (Margaret Ross) and Peebles from the Golf Course (Margaret Jamie).
