WEST Linton Golf Club held their annual charity day in glorious conditions on Slipperfield Moor.
The event raised £2,521 for this year’s chosen charity, the Cystinosis Foundation UK, which aims to improve the lives of cystinosis sufferers and their families by raising awareness in the medical community and providing information and support.
West Linton girl Morven Hutchison, four, suffers from the illness and her mum and dad, Alex and Neil, and their family and friends have been fundraising tirelessly. Their efforts included the hugely successful Great Big Cycle to the five Capitals in Britain and Ireland. Mrs Hutchison is pictured receiving a cheque from West Linton Club Captain, John Darling.
