The tournament, held outside at St Ronan’s Primary School, attracted many supporters, with matches competitive and sporting.
Both finals turned out to be nail-biters.
The small school final brought together Halyrude and Broughton.
The match was close throughout, with Halyrude delighted to snatch the win by 3 goals to 2.
The large school final was between Kingsland A and St Ronan’s A.
In the opening minutes the goals were all going St Ronan’s way, but Kingsland started to turn the tables, leaving the score equal at full time.
Two minutes of extra time were allowed, with Kingsland securing one goal to win the trophy, but both teams displaying some great talent and clearly much hard work from their respective coaches.
