PEEBLES bowler Yvonne Armstrong has returned from the Scottish Deaf Bowling Association championships with gold.
Skip Yvonne was part of the Edinburgh Deaf Club triple who won at Perth Bowling Club.
Edinburgh beat Dundee 15-11 in the semi-finals, and went on to conquer Aberdeen by 15-10 in the finals.
The winning team comprised Yvonne - skip, Margaret Thomson - second, and Christine McCulloch - lead.
The successful triple will go forward to represent Scotland in the British Deaf Council UK competition to be held in August.
