The winners of the Johnstone Open Pairs - Caron Ironside and Gavin Parker.
BROUGHTON and District Bowling Club held their final open tournament of the season, the Johnstone Open Pairs.
A total of 24 pairs started at 9am and eventually Gavin Parker and Caron Ironside of the host club defeated Paul Nicolson Jnr, also of the host club and his father, Paul Nicolson Snr in the final.
It was an exciting final which went to an extra end before a winning result was achieved.
The club wish to acknowledge the voluntary help they receive in staging these open tournaments and the players from the many clubs who support us with their entries.
