PEEBLESSHIRE swimmers Megan Rose and Adele Tait are set to make waves in South Africa next week as they life-save for Scotland.
The teenagers have been selected as part of the national team to compete in the Commonwealth Festival of Life Saving in Durban.
Megan from Blyth Bridge, who has completed her first year at Glasgow University, and West Linton's Adele, who is a still a pupil at Peebles High, are joined by Shaunna Anderson, Rebecca Stewart, Hannah Masterton and Logan McCulloch in the Scotland team.
During the Festival the girls will compete in disciplines such as swimming, manikin towing and rope throwing.
There are also emergency response events and resuscitation tests as part of a lifesaving challenge.
Accompanying the Scotland team is head coach Steven Wardie and squad manager John Walker.
