ATHLETE Ellie O’Hara has made giant strides in her first season of competition.
The 11-year-old from Cardrona was rewarded with the Highland Games Junior League title.
And her coach at the Leithenburn club, John Motion, this will be the first of many awards.
John told us: “Ellie truly deserves her medal after winning the league in her first season. “Ellie is the best runner of her age I have trained, and if she keeps improving as she has done a lot will be heard of her.”
