Senior Girl Champion is Alana Craigmile with Jack Gray winning the historic Senior Boys’ Tennant of the Glen Cup - a trophy dating back to 1900.

S3 Champions are Anna Forsyth and Robbie Renwick. S2 Champions are Bryony Patterson and Donald Tait, and S1 Champions are Niamh Barber and Ross Young.

At Grangemouth Athletics Stadium on Saturday the Junior age groups were competing to qualify for the final stages of the Scottish Schools Championships.

Only the top eight Competitors in each event made it to Hampden Commonwealth Games Stadium on the weekend of June 20 and 21.

Bryony Patterson, fresh from her Pentathlon win, finished eighth in the Long Jump for 14 and 15 year-old girls to book her place at the national stadium.

Her first round jump of 4.58 metres was enough to send her through to the final.

Her semi final of the 100 metres sprint saw her record a time of 13.71 seconds. This put her in eighth position with the ninth runner also recording a time of 13.71. Bryony made it by one-one-hundredth of a second.

Euan Hood missed out in his 800 metres heat finishing 6th as did Ailsa Innes in her half mile heat.

Mairi Wallace competed in the 1500 metres and finished 14th - a mere 10 seconds off qualifying.

In the senior events athletes achieving qualifying standards were invited straight to Hampden.

Craig Mullins will represent the school in Hammer.

Dominic O’Hare in 800m and 1500m, Jacob Adkin in 5000m and Kobe Stevens in the 1500m.

Jack Gray will do both the triple and long jump whilst Sophie Collins will run 800m and Niamh Shaw competes in both the 800m and 1500m.
