PEEBLES Concert Band, the flute group Tutti Flutti and the Junior Concert Band will be performing in the Leckie Memorial church tonight (Friday, January 31) at 7.30pm. The concert will be in aid of the church’s See the Light, Hear the Word, fundraising campaign. And everyone is welcome to come along and support what will be an enjoyable musical evening. Peebles Concert Band was formed in 2008 by the one and only Daniel T Ward. The band has a cross section of woodwind and brass players who play in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. It welcomes players 'of any age at any age’.

It has about 20 regular members who perform a wide range of music from waltzes to marches, theme songs to songs from musicals.

Tutti Flutti is a successful Flute Choir for players of any age, based in Peebles. The group has performed at numerous events throughout the Borders. Their library of music is extremely varied and is sure to have something for all tastes – ranging from Bach through Mozart to popular music, easy listening, and TV/film theme.
