PEEBLES Burgh Silver Band is celebrating the completion of the recent refurbishment of the Band Hall with a small ceremony there on Thursday, June 11, at 7pm for 7.30pm.
This will be an occasion for the band to thank not just its grant providers, Awards For All, Scotland (£10,000) and the Peebles Common Good Fund (£7,000) but also the tradesmen who completed the work and the band’s many long standing patrons and supporters throughout the town.
Please feel free to look in to see the refurbished Band Hall but more importantly to share refreshments with as many past, current and future band members as can attend. If you are new to Peebles, can play an instrument and would like to join the band, now is the time to come along and meet the band. You will be made most welcome.
