WHEN local choir Eddleston Voices were invited to sing with flamenco guitar great Eduardo Niebla they jumped at the chance.
On Friday, February 7, they took to the Eastgate stage in Peebles and delivered a wonderful performance of two songs, “In the Music” and “My Gypsy Waltz”. Musical Director Lorraine Mulholland said: “The concert on Friday was an exciting experience for Eddleston Voices. I have to admit we were all very nervous initially but Eduardo soon put us at our ease. The music was quite different from our usual repertoire but we all enjoyed the challenge. It was a real privilege to sing with such a wonderful musician.” Eddleston Voices was founded in 2008 and has a membership of 35 singers who represent a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
