THE gardeners of West Linton received a long service award at the annual general meeting of Scotland’s Gardens earlier this month for 25 years of opening the village gardens for charity under the national scheme.
John Bracken and Rose Parrott collected the award on behalf of all the volunteers who have worked hard over the years.
It was presented by Jamie Macnab of Savills.
This year’s opening will be on Sunday, August 2 and in the meantime Srongarbh will be opening for the first time in many years on Sunday, May 31.
