A GAMES free summer has led to a primary school pupil raising much needed money for a third world charity.
Finlay Glasgow challenged himself to ditch his online obsession of gaming throughout the seven weeks of school holidays.
The Primary 6 pupil at Eddleston raised a whopping £200 for the WaterAid charity.
Finlay told the Peeblesshire News: "I really wanted to do some sort of challenge this summer and it was really hard to stay off my tablet, computer and wii.
"But water is for everyone so we should help people who can’t get it easily."
Thanks to Finlay's resolve and the generosity of his family, friends and neighbours in Eddleston, WaterAid will be able to provide more people with means of getting clean water.
