AN Innerleithen woman who was more than three times the legal alcohol limit while driving has been fined £800 and banned from the road for 12 months.
Selkirk Sheriff Court was told 47-year-old Marie Bennett of Leithen Road, had a breath/alcohol count of 73 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22.
The offence was committed in Traquair Road, Innerleithen, on February 23.
