A 48-year-old woman has been placed on supervision for the next 18 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Lisa Gray was convicted of entering a house in Connor Street, Peebles, and approaching her former husband last August in breach of a court order.
She also behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by struggling violently with others.
Gray, of Kilsyth, was told the 18-months community pay back order was an alternative to a custodial sentence.
Sentence was deferred on 14 other offences - ranging from assault, wasting police time, threatening or abusive behaviour to breaches of bail - until August 8.
Meanwhile, Gray will stand trial at Selkirk Sheriff on March 13 on a drink driving charge.
She is alleged to have been almost four times the legal alcohol limit while driving in Peebles in November.
Gray pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving with a breath/alcohol count of 86 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22.
She has lodged a special defence of post-incident drinking.
