SENTENCE has been deferred for three months for good behaviour on a Peebles man who admitted making threats of violence in a local public house.
Keith Daly, 46, of Kingsway, pleaded guilty to acting in an aggressive manner at the town’s County Inn in High Street on June 30.
He admitted behaving in that manner while still subject to an antisocial behaviour order issued a year before.
Depute fiscal Tessa Bradley said: "He went into those premises and turned aggressive after being told he was barred by staff,”
Defence lawyer Ed Hulme said his client had a history of mental health problems and had no recollection of the events on the night.
The case will recall on May 7.
