Warrants issued against assault trial witnesses
A NEW date has been fixed for the trial of a Peeblesshire man accused of assault and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Adam Ferguson, 53, of Black Yet Road, Eddleston, denies the offences which are said to have happened at Glenormiston near Innerleithen, between November 2017 and September 2018.
He will now face trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court on June 18.
Warrants have been granted for the arrest of three witnesses, including the accused's daughter, who failed to turn up for last week's trial.
