TRAQUAIR House opened its grounds at the weekend to mark the start of its season and to promote the new footpath which now runs from Innerleithen to Traquair.
As we reported last week, the network provides local residents with 4.5km of footpaths around the Traquair estate and is due to be completed later this summer.
To show off the project visitors of all ages packed into the grounds of Scotland’s oldest inhabited house to get close to the animals and have some fun in the play areas.
Traquair has a busy summer planned, with a packed programme of events.
