GET a taste of Brazilian night-life at the Eastgate Centre tomorrow night (November 2).

If you're looking for a lively night out with some hip-shaking, uplifting beats, then Saturday night in Peebles is where you need to be.

Thanks to Edinburgh-based band 'Bristol Branch' (definitely not from Bristol), traditional north-eastern Brazilian dance 'forró' will be brought to the Borders in 'Braziliana'.

Forró was originally a music style, but over the years it has adopted many other genres into it, along with various forms of dance. Most commonly forró is danced between two people and requires partners to keep close to one another, it also tends to require some fancy footwork.

But fear not, before you take to the dance floor, Bristol Branch's performance, tickets for a workshop on the dance can be bought with your entry ticket so you can work on your moves before the show really starts.

Adult tickets are £15, £18 with the workshop and under 25s are £8, £10 with workshop.
